2010 SICAA Maytime Festival : MAYO OCHO RAFFLE DISCO

The Joint Meeting SICAA Executive Board and SICAA Senate on April 10, 2010 at the Fr. Arthur Price Hall approved the holding of the 2010 SICAA Maytime Festival on May 8, 2010, entitled "MAYO OCHO RAFFLE DISCO". Top prizes for the Raffle are two(2) Note Laptop Computers. Proceeds of the event will go to the "REBUILD SIC PROJECT". SICAA President Arch. Freddie Alfonso presented the Final Design of the New Building with an Alumni Center and SICAA Gallery which is a donation of SIC HS Batch 1970 (Design Services). The Ticket Distribution for the MAYO OCHO RAFFLE DISCO shall be coordinated and monitored by Vice President for Internal Affairs Jun De Vela of SIC HS Batch 1984. The Event Program shall be under the supervision of V.P. External Affairs Minnie Matienzo-delos Santos. SICAA Senator Benjie Viray will liase with Alumni who may perform in the event, including the possible attendance of Alumni Celebrity Janelle Jamer of Batch 2000. Senator Celing Retoria suggested that the History of San Ildefonso College since it was founded in 1918 be reflected in the Proposed SICAA Gallery in the new building in anticipation of the Centennial Celebrations of SIC in 2018. The Meeting which started at 9:00 am adjourned at 2:30 pm.

SICAA President thanks all who attended the First 2010 SICAA Semi-Annual
Batch REPRESENTATIVES MEETING. The body endorsed the holding of the
SICAA MAY-ONE-GIMIKAN ON May 1, 2010, with a consensus that the tickets
will be of four types with the lowest prized "Bronze" tickets for
Batches 2010 to 2000, "Silver" tickets fo...r Batches 1999 to 1970, "Gold
tickets for Batches 1969 to1960, and "Diamond" tickets for Classes 1959
to 1948. The prizes : a notebook computer, a digicam, and two
cellphones were also approved. The final tickets are to be approved by
the SICAA Senate in a Meeting tentatively scheduled Easter Sunday prior
to distribution.
